Is this a difficult adjustment?
Maria Ramos
33:27
It depends on the student. The one thing that IMSA does is have sophomores stay on campus for the first couple of weeks of the school year so they can adjust to IMSA and have a chance to meet others.

Maria Ramos

Are there ways parents of students who reside several hours away can become involved?
Maria Ramos
39:51
Yes, there are many ways for parents who live far away, especially in the PAC. That is one of our main goals is to keep parents connected, no matter how far they live.

Are courses offered at IMSA are equivalent to Honors OR AP courses that are offered at home school or different?
Jacqueline Salinas
51:38
Courses at IMSA are considered advanced/honors equivalent or beyond. AP courses are not offered at IMSA, but students are able to sign up and take AP tests at IMSA. Academic supports are available for students as they prepare for an AP exam.

For families that live nearby, can students be checked out for private music lessons or activities during the week? Or is it disruptive and better left for the weekend?
